The course is designed to support colleagues new to working with the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004.

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 create a range of obligations for Scottish public authorities.

This course introduces the key concepts and practicalities of day-to-day FOISA compliance.

The course is specifically designed to support colleagues who are new to FOISA and tasked with handling requests and reviews.
